ANY RESEMBLANCE TO OLD SAN JUAN, SANTURCE AND VIEQUES IS... COINCIDENTAL?

Venetians have always been interesting to me. I find quite funny to imagine their daily lives: grocery stores, transports, hospital... all those things seem so disconnected with a place like that. But even though Venice doesn't really seem a city, it still is. But it might not last for a long time: in 25 years time, according to the extimations, the city will have utterly turned into a mere amusement park for turists. Goodbye Venetians, in 2030 none will live in the city anymore.
For whoever knows anyone from Venice, thare's not much surprising in that. Venice is getting too expensive, uncomfortable and full of turists, so who lives often gives up, letting the turists take over the city.

What will happen, according to the extimations, is that every morning the gates of the city will be open to 100.000 turists: they will have their nice tour and leave before the closure, in the evening. Basically the population's exodus is a problem even bigger than high water.

Venice, one day, will probably end up sinking. And passengers are abandoning the ship.
